"You must do something to make the world more beautiful"-Miss Rumphius written by Barbara Cooney
What I Do
Being a florist comes naturally to me. Formal training is important, but I like to let the flowers speak to me. I have over ten years in the industry and countless hours of experimentation! Flowers bring me joy, lighten my heart and help express who I am. The reason I love working with nature is it can naturally bring happiness to anyone!
Who doesn't love a great big bouquet of flowers when you walk in after having a bad day, or see a large vase of roses when you're suddenly sad.
My team and I love sourcing from our own backyards for the most sustainable flowers possible! The dirt from our yards gets put under our fingernails first! Whenever we cannot do that-we always source locally. Those u-pick flower farms are where we go next, and then if it's out of season the flower markets is the last place we hit. Mom always asks "you've been out digging things up again? Haven't you"-at dinner before washing my hands again per usual. Me-"Yes-of course" And I could go on...

I hope you can see my love of flowers and nature by choosing Dandy Blooms for your next moment or event, we are happy to work with you on anything, anywhere, at anytime!
Who I Am
Ever since I was a little one, you could find me outside. I was raised by a pack of neighborhood boys and grew up in my grandma's bountiful garden. Everything I know about beauty and flowers I attribute to all the wonderful women in my life (one mom, one sister, five aunts and a host of other lovely ladies that helped raise me).
One in particular stands out-my grandma who is over 100 and going strong!
Today I LOVE working with flowers, being around my dog Frankie and spending time with the coolest dude ever-Max. If we ever get free time from me being outside, you'll find us again-outside. Floral, Family and Friends are what guide me and what I am most thankful for.
