Dirt Under Our Nails...

Since I was a little one I have always been outside, a little tomboy, wandering the woods! Nature calls to me! If I am not outside gardening, picking flowers or arranging them you can find me on a hike or out with friends taking on nature! I love working with the natural environment that surrounds us. I am a Redmond, WA native, where I was born and raised. From years working in gardens I found some of my first work at garden centers learning even more about plants! I went from there to University of Washington studying forestry and after graduation working in the environmental science realm. Flowers called to me both native and ornamental. Wetland restoration was my calling with floral work on the side. I love owning Dandy Blooms though and working with flowers is my true passion. I will always be the eco nerd, growing my own flowers, working with local farmers, sourcing everything as environmentally friendly as possible, no matter what.
